365 project - weeks twenty-six, twenty-seven, twenty-eight

13. Take a picture every day for one year.

(The blog post where we finally end 2011, and enter 2012!)

12.15.11
On the fourth day of Christmas, my friend Sarah made me this super cute and even more convenient sewing kit! I'm in awe of her craftiness, and I adore this super useful present. I used it within minutes of opening it. :-)

12.16.11
On the fifth day of Christmas, my friend Kristina made for me, this gorgeous handmade bird ornament! Sade named it "Partridge," even though I think she looks more like a turtle dove.

12.17.11
On the sixth day of Christmas, my friend Nasrene gave to me. Day Six was my day, and my gifts were blank note cards decorated with some of my favorite photos.

12.18.11
On the seventh day of Christmas, my friend Megan made me these adorable heart shaped hand warmers and a felted bowl. I haven't a clue how she made the bowl, but Sadie and I both love this thoughtful gift!

12.19.11
On the eighth day of Christmas, my friend Dawn made me this Ravens' colored felt ornament. The great part about this is it matches our Christmas tree AND our Playoffs tree that goes up January 1st. :-)

12.20.11
First night of Hanukkah.  Sadie's own little personal menorah. No, we're not Jewish, but Sadie likes to celebrate Hanukkah and the high holy days. She was Jewish in a past life, I think.

12.21.11
Train garden.  Love the wonderment of the train garden :-)

12.22.11
"Silver bells."  The mini-ballerinas perform their Christmas dance.

12.23.11
The kiddos perform....and the parents record. At Sadie's Christmas pageant.

12.24.11
Christmas Even snuggles. Olivia and Sadira

12.25.11
Christmas Day. Matching outfits with Tallulah...they were both very very good this year!

12.26.11
Wall o' cards.  This is how we display our Christmas cards each year. Usually they all fit on the door, but this year they spilled over onto the wall. We felt super loved by all the joy and cheer coming through our mailbox

12.27.11
The great shoe purge.  Started with 92 pairs...ended with 60 pairs.

12.28.11
Gemini. Can you tell I'm a shoe loving gemini? And the two sides of my twin personality are polar opposites? Two of my favorite ornaments I bought this year...mini models of this year's favorite shoes!

12.29.11
Cookie baking (part 1,230,431).  This time with the aunties. Lord knows Mirjafarys love their cookies...

 12.30.11
I'm not gonna lie, my chili is banging. I don't often give myself kudos when it comes to culinary endeavors, but this chili is a constant crowd pleaser. YUM.

 12.31.11
Goodbye 2011...hello 2012!

1.1.12
Ravens are AFC Divisional Champs! With a sweep of the division, and a perfect 8-0 home record, the Ravens get to enjoy a bye week before their playoff home game. What a great way to start off 2012! Go Ravens!

1.2.12
Sadira's blue Christmas tree is so cute with it's cupcake ornaments. Would it be inappropriate to leave this up year round?

1.3.12
Where in the world should the Mirjaf girls go next? Trying to plan out our 2012 trips.

1.4.12
Strawberry Shortcake...or should I say, dessert shells, Cool Whip and fresh strawberries. Yum.

365 project - weeks twenty-three, twenty-four, and twenty-five

13. Take a picture every day for one year.

(Still playing catch up)

11.24.11
Thanksgiving dinner around the table at Mommom's house. I have so many memories of every holiday, with family and friends gathered around this table.

11.25.11
Angels.  Confetti snow angels...it doesn't get any sweeter than that.

11.26.11
FIVE Mirjafs.  Nanay, three of her granddaughters and one of her great-granddaughters.

11.27.11
A princess is planning out my day.  So lucky to have my schedule dictated by royalty!

 11.28.11
Robot Nativity!  Gotta love Hampden, hon.

11.29.11
New umbrella!  This will definitely brighten up any rainy day.

11.30.11
Sleepy.  YOU try waking this kid up first thing in the morning. It's impossible. I'm already fearing the teenage years...

12.1.11
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...Sadie and Sean snuggle up to the big man in red.

12.2.11
Mason-Dixon.  The fact that I "technically" live below the Mason-Dixon line always makes me chuckle a little...

12.3.11
Ashleigh on her wedding day looking perfectly beautiful. Too bad my camera died and I had to snap this shot with my camera phone.

12.4.11
Gingerbread Taj Mahal.  How amazing is this? I love all of the creative treats that pop up during the holidays.

12.5.11
Who-ville in extra miniature form.

12.6.11
Poinsettas.  Super Christmasy, super cute.

 12.7.11
Off to the post office!  Sending off my packages for the 8 days of Christmas swap.

12.8.11
Breaking out the snowflake placemats! We're getting festive up in here...

12.9.11
Waiting in the line for pictures with Santa. Though this pic is way better than the pic we ended up with...

12.10.11
My mini-bakers are back and baking Christmas cookies! Yum.

12.11.11
Christmas lights!  Love seeing them all over the place!

12.12.11
On the first day of Christmas...my friend Jennie made me this adorable canvas with my hometown mapped out. This wasn't even the "main" gift, but I love it so much.

12.13.11
Hampden's 34th Street. Checking out the lights with the mini-girls, Sadira and Olivia.

12.14.11
On the third day of Christmas...my friend Jess made me this adorable wreath ornament with a bird's nest charm, that I fully intend on detaching and using as a pendant on a necklace. Love!

365 project - weeks twenty, twenty-one aaaaaannnndddd twenty-two

13. Take a picture every day for one year.

Sorry y'all, I'm HOPELESSLY behind! As always, I'm working on that...expect several posts this week!

11.3.11
This pink Raven's fan hon distracted Sadira while we were in the Home Depot. Good thing, too, cause I was secretly buying hot pink paint for her bedroom redo birthday surprise...  (blog to come about that THIS WEEK!)

11.5.11
Delicious pasta salad that I made for Sadira's 4th birthday party. I don't know what I did to make it so tasty, but I need to figure it out and do it again.

11.5.11
Sadira's Seussical Party.  Happy Birthday Sadie!  Getting a hug from Olivia at her party.

11.6.11
Punkin' chunkin'. Cause smashing tons of pumpkins is obviously a fun time

11.7.11
The only photo from her actual fourth birthday...the brand new 4 year old and her kitty.

11.8.11
Getting an autograph from her favorite Raven.  Suggs! Hands down her most favorite birthday gift.

11.9.11
New pink room!  Including a brand new bed...Happy 4th Birthday, Sadira!

11.10.11
Celebrating the November birthdays in our family.  Sadira and Poppop enjoy their bday cupcakes.

11.11.11
It's been a good birthday week for Sadira. I have a happy girl on my hands.

11.12.11
Girls' Night Out with Sandi!  Very necessary after a difficult week for Mommy.

11.13.11
Sunday Starbucks' treat.  Milk and a cake pop make for a happy Sadira.

11.14.11
Sadie's school church this morning at drop-off.  I love the gold domes on top of the church, especially with the blue sky and clouds behind it.

11.15.11
Well good morning!  When did you sneak in here?

11.16.11
ABCs of life.  Noticed this in my friend's bathroom, and said to her, "I love that little plaque in your bathroom, where did you get it?" She thought for a second and said, "You gave it to me. A few years ago." I thought about it, and remembered she's right. I've got good taste. :-)

11.17.11
Thanksgiving prayer service performed by the Pre-K classes at St. Casimir's school. There were many joyful noises being made

11.18.11
Fashion show!  New clothes for a chic new four year old must be modeled.

11.19.11
Sitting pretty!  Today I am thankful that all traces of last night's Puke-fest 2011 are gone! And we're off to get our holiday pic taken as scheduled...

11.20.11
Snuggles for Jamie.  Since he lives 5000 miles away, Sadie enjoys any time she can get with her buddy Jamie.

11.21.11
I love fall!  Saw this pattern in Target and it reminded me how much fall is my favorite season.

11.22.11
Binder graveyard.  With just a few days til Thanksgiving vacation, it's a slow day in the office...that is, until I discovered this massive wall of mystery binders!

11.23.11
Auntie mani/pedi.  Because getting your nails done by your Auntie is so much more fun than Mommy.

Next up...Thanksgiving and "it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!"
